On the horizon is an approaching religious and cultural furore so contentious, any clash of civilizations may have to wait. On one side, a manuscript titled: The Final Freedoms, against all the gravitas religious tradition can bring to bear.

The first wholly new interpretation for 2000 years of the moral teachings of Christ is on the web. Redefining all primary elements including Faith, the Word, Baptism, the Trinity and the Resurrection, this new interpretation questions the validity and origins of all Christian tradition; focusing specifically on marriage, love and human sexuality, it overturns all natural law ethics and theory. At stake is the credibility of several thousand years of religious history and moral teaching, and will certainly impact other fields of intellectual inquiry.

What first appears a counter intuitive and utterly preposterous challenge to the religious status quo is worth closer examination; it carries within its pages ideas both subtle and sublime, what the theological history of religion either ignored, were unable to imagine or dismissed as impossible. An error of presumption which could now leave 'tradition' staring into the abyss and humble all secular, atheist speculation. This new teaching has nothing whatsoever to do with any existing religious conception known to history. It is unique in every respect. What science and religion have agreed was not possible, has now become all too inevitable.

Using a synthesis of scriptural material from the Old and New Testaments, the Apocrypha , The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Nag Hammadi Library, and some of the worlds great poetry, it describes and teaches a single moral LAW, a single moral principle, and offers the promise of its own proof; one in which the reality of God responds directly to an act of perfect faith with a individual intervention into the natural world; correcting human nature by a change in natural law, altering biology, consciousness and human ethical perception beyond all natural evolutionary boundaries. Intended to be understood metaphorically, where 'death' is ignorance and 'Life' is knowledge, this experience, personal encounter of transcendent power and moral purpose is the 'Resurrection', and justification for faith, providing a new, active moral foundation to reason itself.

Here then is the first ever viable religious conception capable of leading reason, by faith, to observable consequences which can be tested and judged. This new teaching delivers the first ever religious claim of insight into the human condition, that meets the Enlightenment criteria of verifiable and 'extraordinary' evidence based truth embodied in action. For the first time in history, however unexpected, the world must now measure for itself, the reality of a new moral tenet, not of human intellectual origin, offering access by faith, to absolute proof for its belief.

This is 'religion' without any of the conventional trappings of tradition. An individual, spiritual, virtue-ethical conception, independent of all cultural perception, contained within a single moral command and single Law that finds it's expression of obedience within a new covenant of marriage. It requires no institutional framework or hierarchy, no churches or priest craft, no scholastic theological rational, dogma or doctrine and ?worship? requires only conviction, faith and the necessary measure of self discipline to accomplish a new, single, moral imperative and the integrity and fidelity to the new reality.

If confirmed and there appears both the means and a growing, concerted effort to test and authenticate this material, this will represent a paradigm change in the moral and intellectual potential of human nature itself; untangling and resolving the greatest questions of human existence: consciousness, meaning, suffering, free will and evil. And at the same time addressing the most profound problems of our age.

While every day, from every television screen, newspaper, radio and web, the limitations of mankind are becoming both obvious and ominous by the failure to successfully address and resolve the most pressing problems facing the modern world, threatening humanity and the earth itself, with this revelation, we are offered way out.

Proving the 'means to ends' this new teaching is asking humanity, choose the future you prefer? The status quo, where existing religious tradition, mired in its own corruption, hypocrisy and contradiction offers little but divisiveness and its own pretensions, and politics offering only the growing chaos of more war, terrorism, conflict, environmental degradation, natural disaster, plague and pandemic, spin and whitewash, economic turmoil and sectarianism. Or learning to comprehend that human nature and natural reason, a prisoner to its evolutionary root, exists within ethical limits, and by taking new personal and moral responsibility, in a single change of mind and conduct, by faith, transcend those limits and blow the status quo strait to hell.

Trials of this new teaching are open to all and under way in many countries, colloquial evidence from discussion forums already suggest confirmations are taking place. For those individuals who can imagine outside the historical cultural box, with the moral courage to learn something new, and test this for themselves, to stand against the stream of fashionable thought and spin, an intellectual and moral revolution is already under way, where hope meets reality and the 'impossible' becomes inevitable, with the most potent Non Violent Direct Action any human being can take to advance peace, justice, change and progress.

Brother John Maguire has faced eight trials on child sex abuse charges. Eight times, including yesterday, he has been acquitted, with none of the jurors ever being told of the other allegations against him. The Herald can now reveal that, due to a court ruling on the risk of contamination of evidence, a judge decided that each case against Brother Maguire had to be heard separately. The ruling followed defence claims that the students making the allegations had colluded at a school reunion in 1999.

This is what the Cathoic church was all about, abusing, demolising and comdeming innocent children.
Far back in my days, every Monday morning, the question was asked. "Who didn't go to Mass yesterday" the same for saints days.

These children had to stand up in front of a mixed grade class of maybe 40 odd children and admit they didn't got to mass. They were banned from sport for that week. For many children this was the only time they got to play sport because if they were poor then they couldn't

Then there was me. I had a lisp and couldn't spell so Sr. Joe lined us up behind the movable blackboard and as we moved along she strapped us for how many words we got wrong - double strap about 5 inches wide (ones the nuns wore) This happened for two years in years 3 and 4 for me. Then I got the cane across my legs because when I marched my left leg didn't march straight.

Move ahead to 1990 and a nun was my boss in a Catholic school. She was the most nasty little person I have ever come across. She didn't use the cane or strap, she used her tongue.
I wonder how I stayed a Catholic for so lone.

I would really appreciate any information from any former orphans, teachers, workers of Neerkol Orphanage, Queensland, about a Sr Rita who was at Neerkol in the 1950's. She was sent from Neerkol to St Patrick's Convent school in Mackay, in the late 50's early sixties. My brother has recently experienced another breakdown, and it was in this last episode, that the reality of what happened to him at St Patrick's Convent came flooding back. My abuse was physical and emotional, but, as well as suffering that abuse, his was far more sinister. I really need to know more about this woman now, and why she left her "beloved Neerkol" (how she referred to it). When we read of the atrocities committed in that institution on poor innocent defenceless little children, I fear that culture found it's way to St Patrick's Convent.
I always wanted to know what the other nuns were thinking as this woman caned my brother and I every Monday morning, because our parents had not gone to Church the day before. People standing by and doing nothing while innocent children were abused. They are equally culpable.

It is time to start organising on several fronts to bring this to a head.

Anyone who is interested in writing a book documenting all this, as a truthful account of what is happening, and is still happening, get ready, if you are keen.

I will start another website, away from this one, and we can start to collaborate, work out the structure, and make contact with other people who are wanting to take action and feel alone, or not quite sure what to do.

There are many sites around the world who are trying to make a difference, and we will be another one. Eventually, the last straw on the camels back will force some change. If this was happening in the Northern Territory, they would intervene...

Can someone start by looking at how many Catholics are in all our Parliaments. Not for a witch hunt, there are thousands of Catholics who are disgusted by this, but we need to know to get an overall deomgraphic.

I'm thinking this is right on topic and also a way to release a surge of horror as I just came accross something in google.

I was looking at WHO?? was in wangaratta court this week with a media blanket over him (best not say 'who' this week) and I see that when I read over his past convictions they include Corpus Christi Seminary as where much of the sexual abuse of his victims occurred.
Then I google Corpus Christi and have a look at who is on staff. And the first person is the Dean of Studies here

He is a priest of the Congregation of the Mission also known as the Vincentians ....these guys are everywhere .....bad as the Salesians.

No ones catching on yet????
